Setting Up a Scanner

While working as a Desk Operation Specialist we took turns rotating to the reception desk. At the time we had older scanners that required going through the setup process at least once a month. For years we had “hand me down” instructions with notes off to the side of changes or errors in the initial instructions. I took it upon myself to rewrite these instructions a few years ago. This version was used until we transferred to new scanners and scanning software. Rewriting and formatting this document is what lead to the realization that I should go into technical writing.
